Technically necessary storage

Your decision in the cookie banner is stored locally in your browser (localStorage, entry “elani-consent”): separately for the categories Statistics and Marketing, together with the time of your decision and the version of the banner. This entry contains no personal data and is not transmitted to third parties. After twelve months we ask again, and likewise if the services we use or their purposes change. Until then the entry remains stored unless you delete it or change your setting.

Statistics – only with your consent

Only if you consent to the Statistics category in the cookie banner is Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland) loaded. The following cookies are then set:

  • _ga – distinguishes visitors, stored for up to 2 years
  • _ga_* – maintains session state, stored for up to 2 years

Marketing – only with your consent

Only if you consent to the Marketing category in the cookie banner is Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited, Dublin, Ireland) loaded. We use it to measure whether an enquiry submitted via our contact form originates from one of our ads (conversion tracking). Google may also use this data to show you ads tailored to your visit to this website (remarketing). The following cookies may then be set:

  • _gcl_au – attributes an enquiry to the corresponding ad click, stored for 90 days
  • _gcl_aw, _gcl_gs – store the identifier of an ad click if you reached this website via an ad, stored for 90 days
  • IDE – set by Google on the domain doubleclick.net, used to deliver and measure ads, stored for up to 13 months
  • test_cookie – set by Google on the domain doubleclick.net, checks whether your browser accepts cookies, stored for 15 minutes

In addition, Google Ads stores the identifier of an ad click in your browser’s localStorage (entry “_gcl_ls”).

Without your consent, no marketing cookies are set and no connection to Google Ads is established. The two categories are independent of each other: you can consent to Statistics and decline Marketing, or vice versa. Change or withdraw your consent

You can change your decision at any time with effect for the future: via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of each page, or with the button below, which withdraws your consent completely. The cookies and entries of Google Analytics and Google Ads stored on this website are then removed. Cookies that Google has set on the domain doubleclick.net cannot technically be deleted by us; you can remove them in your browser settings.
